This is the first professional win in the career of the 22-year old cyclist. Banazsek won the yellow jersey from Pierre Barbier, France from the team Nippo Delko One Provence after the Sofia-Pazardzhik stage, winning versus Patryk Stosz from the Polish team Voster.
