Bulgarian high-school students win medals at International Mendeleev Olympiad

Two medals for Bulgaria were won by Bulgarian high-school students in chemistry from the International Mendeleev Olympiad, the Ministry of Education and Science reports. This year's competition was held online, as on July 14 and 15 students had to solve chemistry problems for 5 hours a day. 
Damyan Frantsov from the Sofia Mathematical High School and Pavel Nikolov from the Mathematical High School in Plovdiv won two silver medals in competition with over 100 participants from 27 countries in the prestigious chemistry tournament.
