Anti-government protests continue in Bulgaria for 7th consecutive day

Photo: Ani Petrova, BNR

For the seventh day in a row, citizens protesting against the ruling party are gathering in front of the presidency building in Sofia. The demands of the protesters remain the same - the resignation of the government and the prosecutor general.
A dense police cordon is lined up in front of the Council of Ministers building in central Sofia. There are also police officers with yellow vests, which have the inscription "Anti-conflict". It is still unclear whether the protesters will march along Sofia's central streets and to Eagles' Bridge as on previous days.
In the previous days, thousands took to the streets in Sofia and other cities across the country in protest.
