Bulgaria is still coping well with pandemic

Covid-19 continues to exist and it is deadly. Nobody knows what would happen in the autumn. In addition to Covid-19, there will be seasonal flu, too, Dr Skender Syla, WHO Representative for Bulgaria has told NovaTV.

When we have small outbreaks in more regions of the country, the number of infected is growing and this is happening not only in Bulgaria but also in Europe after the easing of measures. This is the start of the new normal and we must be disciplined and responsible. This is the key to preventing a new spread. If we compare the total number of cases based on 100, 1,000 or 1 million people, Bulgaria is still doing very well compared to other countries in the world, the WHO representative added.
