On July 1, the minimum pension in Bulgaria will increase by 13.9% to EUR 126 a month. All other pensions are to be updated according to the “Swiss Rule” and are to increase by 6.7% as of the beginning of next month. The maximum pension remains to the tune of EUR 614. The average pension in Bulgaria is expected to reach EUR 211. The social pension becomes EUR 72.
