Hailstorm and hurricane wind destroyed vegetable and tobacco crops in the villages of Gospodintsi and Breznitsa in Gotse Delchev municipality. Most vegetable and tobacco growers were not officially registered and stand lower chance of receiving financial compensations. This year, we have witnessed fewer, yet more dangerous hail clouds, the Director of the Hail Suppression Agency Vanyo Slaveev told the Bulgarian National Radio. The farmers are entitled to compensation from the state, only if their crops are completely destroyed by the natural calamities.
