Bulgaria calls on USA and EU to unite efforts to support European perspective of Western Balkans

The EU Foreign Ministers, including Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva, and the U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo agreed to continue the transatlantic partnership based on shared values and cooperate closely in the fight against Covid-19, disinformation and in other areas of common interest, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. During the video conference, the EU Foreign Ministers discussed with Mike Pompeo the relations with China, Turkey and the Middle East, as well as the situation in Ukraine. Minister Zaharieva called on the EU and the USA to unite their efforts and work in close cooperation to support the European integration of the six Western Balkan countries.
