Opposition BSP has announced the opening of a petition in each city for the resignation of the government.

The Socialists are also calling for the creation of two parliamentary committees - one to investigate government's ties to wanted businessman Vasil Bozhkov with 18 accusations, who is currently hiding in Dubai, and the other to investigate the scandal at the Ministry of Agriculture, after an audio recording of Minister Desislava Taneva's advice for not mentioning frauds under European support schemes.

In response, GERB accused the BSP of actions serving businessman Vasil Bozhkov. At a briefing at GERB's headquarters, MP Toma Bikov announced that GERB would support the creation of a committee of inquiry, which would focus on the oligarchs of the entire transition period. The committee should deal with the systematic problem and not the topic of Vasil Bozhkov or his future party, Bikov said.
