32 years since second Bulgarian cosmonaut’s space flight

The second Bulgarian cosmonaut, Alexander Alexandrov went up into space exactly 32 years ago, on 7 June. 

His mission on board the Russian Mir station lasted 9 days. This put Bulgaria among the first space nations of the world with two cosmonauts – Georgi Ivanov who flew in space in 1979, and Alexander Alexandrov – in 1988.
