Nurses have been given the right to establish medical institutions. The same right has been granted to doctor's assistants, midwives and rehabilitators. These medical professionals will be able to do set up a medical treatment institution both in their capacity of individuals as well as through companies registered by them. This became possible with the new amendments to the Law on Medical Establishments, proposed by the government and finally approved by the parliament.

The medical professionals in question will be required to have a professional experience of at least 3 years. The treatment practices they will offer can also be performed in the patient's home if the condition of the patient requires it.
