Our aspiration that the topic for the Balkans will remain in the focus of the talks after Bulgaria's Presidency has already been fulfilled. The EU has shown that it is reaching out and EU enlargement remains a priority, Zaharieva commented.
Russia, China, Turkey and other countries have interests in the Balkans and it is important for the EU to show support for the Balkans. The observance of the undertaken agreements shows the maturity of the political elites, Bulgaria's Foreign Minister added.
