Bulgaria calls for accelerated licensing of its anti-doping laboratory

Bulgaria’s Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev

Bulgaria’s Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev held an online working meeting with the President of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Witold Banka. Minister Kralev underlined that he was counting on WADA to help the Bulgarian Anti-Doping Laboratory get a license. Witold Banka said this was one of his priorities and added that he expected that the procedure is speeded up. The Bulgarian Anti-Doping Center is following strictly WADA’s guidelines during the Covid-19 epidemic, Witold Banka said and thanked Minister Kralev. In 2019 Krasen Kralev was appointed again as an EU representative to the WADA Foundation Board.
