Panels made of wood and decorated with little bells and colourful intertwined threads so typical of Razlog attract the attention of passersby in the park in front of the museum of history in the small town in Pirin Mountain. Inside the panels, photographer Petar Petrov has arranged 56 photographs of women – girls, young brides, children and grandmothers, all clad in national costumes. The collection includes a photograph of the famed granny from Razlog carrying her newborn grand-daughter in a colourful back sling.
The exhibition is organized by Razlog municipality, the history museum in Razlog and Bulgarian roots – Bulgaria!
