Traffic via some of Bulgaria's borders continues to be restricted

At the border with Turkey at the Kapitan Andreevo border checkpoint, at the exit from the country, the traffic is intense. Reports of Bulgaria's Border Police say that foreign citizens in cars, vans and buses are not allowed to cross the Turkish border, with the exception of Turkish citizens. Heavy truck drivers who are citizens of countries at risk, in epidemiological terms, are also not allowed to pass. Drivers who have visited these countries in the last 14 days are also not allowed entry. 

The Greek border authorities temporarily only allow foreign nationals living or working in Greece, certified by an official document in Greek, as the restriction does not apply to truck drivers. The passage through the Zlatograd border checkpoint between Bulgaria and Greece has been suspended due to the complication of the epidemiological situation in Greece.

At the border with Romania, traffic is normal for heavy load trucks. On the Romanian side, the crossing of people and cars at the border checkpoints at Nikopol, Svishtov, Kaynardzha, Krushari and Kardam has been temporarily suspended. Transit trucks can cross the Bulgarian-Romanian border only through the border checkpoints at Ruse-Giurgiu and Vidin-Calafat. Trucks transporting goods to and from Romania can also pass through other functioning border checkpoints on the Bulgarian-Romanian border. 
At the borders with the Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia, truck traffic is normal. However, passengers travelling by car, minibus and bus are not allowed passage. At the exit from North Macedonia, passengers can only pass through the Gyueshevo and Deve Bair border checkpoints.
