“The contract for the acquisition of 10 locomotives with Siemens will be concluded in 21 May. The tendering procedure has not been appealed,” Transport Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov said for the BNR.
The first engine is expected at the end of 2020. In 2021 the Bulgarian State Railways are to receive all locomotives under the contract.
