The problem is how we will get out of the crisis without losing our dignity, Bulgarian sociologist Andrey Raichev told the Bulgarian National Radio. All world leaders must allow people gradually and without feeling shame for fearing an almost non-existent threat to go out and live normally,

Bulgaria has done better than the neighbouring countries. We must compare ourselves to them, not to Norway and Belgium, where there is a completely different mentality, the expert said.
We did much better in terms of the humiliation of the measures, Raichev said. Prime Minister Boyko Borissov is adequate to his people and followed the people's expectations regarding the anti-epidemic measures. Borissov was moving at the pace of the European panic, the sociologist summed up.
