40 new cases of Covid-19 registered in the past 24 hours in Bulgaria

40 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the past 24 hours in Bulgaria, the head of the National Crisis Headquarters General Ventsislav Mutafchiyski announced during the traditional morning briefing. Thus, the total number of Covid-19 cases rose to 735. Yambol joined the list of Bulgarian districts with registered cases of coronavirus infection. 29 new cases are registered in Sofia. The total number of patients diagnosed with Covid-19 increased by 5.8% as compared to the previous day. Currently, there are 585 active cases of Covid-19 in Bulgaria. 24 patients have recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours and the total number of cured people reached 105. Fifty-nine-year-old woman died in Pirogov Emergency Hospital in Sofia. Thus, the number of Covid-19 deaths reached 36- 20 men and 16 women.
