Total average income in Bulgaria increases by 9.6% in 2019

In 2019, the total average income per household member in Bulgaria increased by 9.6% as compared to 2018, the National Statistical Institute announced. In the past ten years (2010-2019) it increased 1.8 times. The salary forms 56.6% of the total income. Incomes from all social transfers (pensions, unemployment benefits, family allowances and other social benefits and compensations) formed 30.2% of the total income. Self-employment earnings formed 6.4% of the total income.
