Mission of 40th Bulgarian Military Contingent in Afghanistan begins

At e solemn ceremony near Kandahar Airport, the 39th Bulgarian Military Contingent in Afghanistan passed its responsibilities on the 40th Bulgarian Military Contingent participating in NATO’s Resolute Support mission. Commander of the 39th Bulgarian Military Contingent in Afghanistan Colonel Krasimir Goranov gave the flag of the mission to the commander of the new Bulgarian military contingent Colonel Svetlozar Stefanov. Colonel Trevor Bredenkamp, Commander of Train, Advise, Assist Command-South greeted the Bulgarian military men and thanked them for their excellent job. All Bulgarians returning from their mission in Afghanistan received medals for participating at the NATO’s operation.
