The Bulgarian Development Bank is launching new programmes in support of businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The initiative supplements the government’s measures and includes sectors that are, for the time being, left out of the scope of the state aid. The financial resource is being channeled towards the sectors hit hardest by the pandemic – retail trade, transport, the hotel and restaurant business, tourism, preschool education in the private sector, artistic and creative activity, sporting activities, organization of congresses and expositions, the official announcement reads.
