Nearly 80% of all people infected with COVID-19 suffer mild symptoms. These people are able to recover at home, Deputy Director and head of the Infectious Diseases Department of the Military Medical Academy Colonel Associate Professor Dr. Georgi Popov said. Deterioration in the health condition of only 10% of the people who treat the coronavirus at home is registered. We monitor the health condition of the patients on a daily basis and ask them to go to hospital if necessary. However, problems related to the special transportation of such people to hospitals exist, Dr. Popov says and adds that medical prescriptions for antibiotics and other medicines are sent to the patients online .
