Eight coronavirus patients in Bulgaria have recovered

At 5 PM on 26 March, 2020 the number of coronavirus cases in Bulgaria is 264, announced General Ventsislav Mutafchiyski, head of the National Crisis Staff. Eight patients have recovered and have been released from hospital. There are two Bulgarian servicemen, members of missions in Kosovo and Romania, who have tested positive.

Earlier in the day Mutafchiyski urged doctors from all hospitals in the country to test all patients with respiratory diseases for coronavirus.

Today, Belmeken high-mountain facility in Rila Mountain, where Bulgaria’s top athletes train, also announced it was closing over COVID-19. The idea to continue the training of the sportsmen and women there in complete isolation was rejected.
