The number of Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria rose to 243, the head of the National Crisis Headquarters Major General Ventsislav Mutafchiyski announced. We have advised the Bulgarian authorities to extend the restrictive measures until April 12. We also recommend that all people arriving from abroad are placed under quarantine. The fourteen-day quarantine will also apply to foreign nationals wishing to visit this country. They must certify where they will spend their quarantine period.

As of March 26, all Bulgarians entering Romania will be placed under fourteen-day quarantine. The measure does not apply to drivers of cargo vehicles. All Bulgarians entering Greece must have a document in Greek certifying that they are employed in this country or own a real estate property there. The requirement does not concern drivers of cargo vehicles. Turkey does not allow any foreign citizens to enter its territory by cars.
