Minister of Culture Banov to check origin of Vasil Bozhkov’s collection of antiquities

Bulgaria’s Minister of Culture Boil Banov is going to check the collection of antiquities displayed at the museum of Thrace foundation, the Bulgarian Prosecutor’s Office announced. The foundation was established by gambling tycoon Vasil Bozhkov, who was recently detained in the United Arab Emirates. Vasil Bozhkov has been collecting, keeping and building a unique collection of antique artefacts, the website of the foundation notes and specifies that many wonderful scientists, who are recognized globally, work at the foundation. The inspection assigned by the Prosecutor’s Office aims to clarify the origin, the ways of acquiring, identifying and registering the cultural valuables.
