Bulgaria’s business uncertain about introduction of Euro

According to 68% of the Bulgarian entrepreneurs, the lack of qualified workforce is the biggest problem for the business. A survey on the business climate has been made at the end of 2019 among the members of the Bulgarian Industrial Association. 60% of the respondents say that bureaucracy is the main impediment to business environment and 59% of the members of the association answered that corruption is the main obstacle for doing business.  80% of the businessman say that the employers should not pay the first three days of the sick leave of their employees and 63% of them say the procedures for attracting workers from third countries must be simplified. 41% of the representatives of the business environment support Bulgaria’s accession to the Eurozone, 39% of them are against and 20% find it difficult to weigh the benefits and disadvantages of taking such a step.
