Dimitar Berbatov named one of Manchester United’s Team of the Decade

Bulgarian football star Dimitar Berbatov has joined the team of the decade of Manchester United. The ranking is made by the popular English website talksport.com. There were so many moments of individual brilliance, none more so than an incredible hat-trick to put arch-rivals Liverpool to the sword with a 3-2 win in September 2010, the edition wrote. The publication adds that the former player in Bulgaria’s national team was a Premier League Golden Boot winner in 2011 and a seven-time winner of the Football Player of the Year award in Bulgaria.

Next to Berbatov in the team of the decade are notable players David De Gea, Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Antonio Valencia, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Michael Carrick, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie. The coach, unsurprisingly, is Sir Alex Ferguson.
