Bulgaria to give scholarships to Namibian students again

Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva met with Namibia’s President Hage Gottfried Geingob and the Prime Minister of this country Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila. She also met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah. Bulgaria and Namibia can cooperate in agriculture, food industry, pharmacy and power engineering sectors, Minister Zaharieva pointed out. Namibia offered Bulgaria to sign an agreement for exchange in the education field. During our fight for independence you provided us with unforgettable help. Bulgaria educated in its universities many Namibian people, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, whose son in now the only Namibian student in Bulgaria, said.
