Second round of local elections in Bulgaria is over

The second round of local elections held in a total of 196 Bulgarian municipalities this Sunday, has officially ended. The vote took place in a calm environment throughout the country, without significant disruption of public order, the Interior Ministry and regional administrations reported. The Central Election Commission also reported fewer complaints of violations than in the first round. These are also the findings of the non-governmental organizations that observed the vote.
