Election Day continues normally with activity similar to that in 2015

Central Election Commission spokesman Alexander Andreev has reported that turnout in the country's second round of local elections, measured at 10 am local time, was 7.14%. The level is close to that registered at the same time in the previous elections in 2015 - 8,66%. In local elections, turnout in the second round is usually lower than in the first round, the spokesman added. There are 196 municipalities in the country that hold a second round on Sunday. The mayors of 18 regional cities, including the three largest cities - Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna, are also being selected in the second round. Election day continues normally, it was reported
