Supporters of BNR Director General Svetoslav Kostov meet with members of Council for Electronic Media

Members of the Bulgarian National Radio held a protest in front of the building of the Council for Electronic Media to show their dissatisfaction with the decision of the media regulator to launch a procedure for an early suspension of the mandate of BNR Director General Svetoslav Kostov. The participants insisted that the decision of the Council for Electronic Media to initiate a procedure for an early suspension of the mandate of Svetoslav Kostov three months after it voted in favor of his concept is unacceptable and assumed that a pressure over the media regulator is perhaps being exerted now. Svetoslav Kostov already announced that he did not intend to hand in his resignation. On September 30 a similar protest in support of BNR Director General Kostov was held in front of the building of the Bulgarian National Radio.
