Bulgaria’s best tennis player Grigor Dimitrov qualified for the third round of US Open tennis tournament. In the second round Dimitrov had to play against Borna Coric (Croatia) who withdrew from the US Open due to a lower back strain. Grigor Dimitrov who currently occupies the 78th position in the ATP ranking reached the quarterfinals of US Open in 2014 and 2016.
