Employment rate of recent university graduates in Bulgaria higher than EU average: Eurostat

Almost 85 percent of people who graduated university last year in Bulgaria have found a job and are successfully implementing the knowledge gained, indicates a Eurostat analysis on the employment rate of recent graduates from higher educational establishments in the EU in 2018.

The average employment rate for the EU is 83 percent, the highest registered is in Malta (97 percent), and Germany and the Netherlands (95 percent).

According to national statistics, in 2018 the largest number of students graduated business administration, foreign languages and law.
