"The government continues with the investment program in the railway transport infrastructure, which remains a priority. Trains save energy and are nearly 100% clean transport," said Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, who has carried out an inspection of the TEN-T projects and works on the trans-European transport network. The projects will modernize a total of 400 km of national railway infrastructure. These investments are also expected to reduce traffic on highways.
