We all have a common duty and responsibility to preserve our language, culture and traditions, no matter how far away we are from our homeland. It is very important that children keep their connection to Bulgaria because otherwise we would lose them as Bulgarians, President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with the Bulgarian community in St. Petersburg. You are the people who represent Bulgaria in Russia and I thank you for your achievements, the Bulgarian head of state said. President Radev recalled that Russia had received its script from Bulgaria, and in 1878 Bulgaria received its freedom from Russia. These are strong and deep connections that no political situation can change. That is why our relations are important and it is our duty to develop them in all dimensions, the President said.
