Bulgaria has negotiated to buy an extra 140 million cubic meters of gas from non-Russian suppliers, this country’s Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova announced. Thanks to the contract signed with a Dutch company, the gas supply from the USA will cost less than what we have paid for gas until now, Minister Petkova said and added that this is a clear sign that the Bulgarian cabinet has been working towards diversification of gas supplies.
