Catholic community in Rakovski visited by Pope for the first time

Pope Francis visited the Catholic community in the town of Rakovski (South Bulgaria). Hundreds of residents and guests welcomed the Holy Father Pope Francis will joyous greetings and cheers. After moments of free communication with the crowd, Pope Francis celebrated the First Communion with 250 children of catholic parishes from different Bulgarian regions. Their parents and many pilgrims watched the ceremony live on video screens in front of the Sacred Heart of Jesus church. Rakovski which is the town with the largest Catholic community in Bulgaria is visited by a head of the Catholic Church for the first time.
