By decision of the government a new settlement has been established in Bulgaria - a village on the territory of Peshtera Municipality, Pazardzhik District. With it the number of villages in Bulgaria reaches 5000. It is situated within the boundaries of an existing local community - St. Constantine. The previous resort meets the requirements of the Law on Administrative-Territorial Structure, for permanent settlement with its permanent population, presence of a settlement plan, social and engineering infrastructure. With a presidential decree, the new settlement will be called "St. Constantine."
