Bulgarian Socialist Party ahead of GERB for EP elections: Gallup International

The scandals and the revelations in Bulgaria over the past few weeks have undermined the trust of the GERB party electorate, indicates a Gallup International survey regarding electoral attitudes for the May elections for European Parliament.

If elections were to be held today, 32.1 percent of people who say they are definitely going to vote would cast a ballot for the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), for GERB and SDS the percentage is 31, and for the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, DPS - 11.1 percent. At 5 percent, the VMRO is close to clearing the threshold for winning a seat in the European Parliament (5.88 percent).
