Tsvetan Tsvetanov holds series of meetings in Washington

The leader of the Parliamentary group of GERB Tsvetan Tsvetanov participates at the annual conference of the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in Washington. At the forum Tsvetanov met with Executive Vice President of B’nai B’rith International Dan Mariaschin, one of the oldest and most influential Jewish organizations in the USA. Tsvetanov and Mariaschin discussed the fight against antisemitism. Tsvetan Tsevtanov acquainted Dan Mariaschin with the idea to turn the March of Tolerance and Unity, held for the first time on March 10 this year in Sofia, into a traditional event. Tsvetanov also met with the United States Senator from Oklahoma James Lankford. Tsvetan Tsevtanov and James Lankford discussed the Kosovo issue. Tsvetanov also discussed Romania’s rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union with this country’s Premier Viorica Dăncilă.
