Founded in 1984, the famous Bulgarian rock band has undergone a number of metamorphoses over the years. Many musicians have passed through the band but its current members are: Atanas Penev – vocals, Kiril Bozhkov – guitars, Slavcho Nikolov – guitar and vocals, Ivan Kalfov – bass guitar and vocals and Ilian Dikov – drums. The band has been experimenting with styles, looking for their own face. The intensive rock career of BTR started in the 1990s. Since then the band has been performing successfully in Bulgaria and abroad and has more than ten albums, hundreds of concerts, and numerous tours behind its back... A major European tour that will include six countries is now coming. The reason is the latest, twelfth consecutive album of the rock musicians. The studio album is called "Invisible Walls" and was released at the end of 2018. Slavcho Nikolov, one of the guitarists, told us more about the upcoming meetings with the audience:
“On March 21 we will be in Prague, where we will be playing for the first time. Then we head for Germany, where we would have six concerts: in Hanover (22.03), in Hamburg (23.03), in Bremen (24.03), in Münster (29.03), in Cologne (30.30) and in Stuttgart (31.03). From there we go to Italy (Milan on 05.04) and France (Lyon on 6.04). From France we are going to Spain - Barcelona on 7.04, Pamplona on 10.04, and Madridon 12.04 and Valencia on 13.04. The tour has been organized by our manager Orlin Mirchev. It would end with a final concert in Sofia on April 19 in the City Stage Club. I want to invite everyone who wants to hear us and live near some of the places we are to perform in. We have prepared a very interesting program. In addition to songs from ‘Invisible Walls’, we would perform many of our hits. I hope to have a lot of fun together.”
So far, we have made videos to two of the songs in the new album. Director of the video to "My Power" is actor Asen Blatechki and the video to "Never before" was directed by Petar Petrov. Slavcho Nikolov also said that the five musicians were currently selecting the next song to create a video to and director will once again be Petar Petrov.
