Vice-Prsident Iliana Yotova discusses measures against school aggression with women ambassadors to Bulgaria

At her traditional meeting with women ambassadors to Bulgaria, Vice-President Iliana Yotova discussed human rights protection and school aggression.

The meeting took place on the day when the 40th session of UN Human Rights Council is taking place in Geneva. The meeting was attended also by UNICEF representative for Bulgaria Dr. Jane Muita. The ambassadors spoke of the practice in the countries they represent with regard to combatting bullying and school aggression among children. The participants in the meeting discussed the role of the family environment, education and social networks.

Iliana Yotrova was adamant that there should be more initiatives at school focusing on the various forms violence takes. The participants agreed that school teachers must build closer contacts with students.
