Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova held a working meeting in Madrid with the President and CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) Gloria Guevara. The meeting was held within the frameworks of the 39th International Tourism Trade Fair FITUR, which is among the largest of its kind. Minister Angelkova accentuated on the significance of the Bulgarian tourism for the steadfast development of this country as year-round destination. It forms nearly 12% of the Bulgarian gross domestic product. According to data of WTTC, the tourist sector in Bulgaria is expected to grow with more than 50% in the next 10 years.
