2.7 per cent annual inflation reported by NSI

The Consumer Price Index for December 2018 in comparison to November 2018 is 100.0%, which means monthly inflation was 0.0%, NSI reported.

Annual inflation for December 2018 compared to December 2017 has slowed down to 2.7%, reaching a 7-month low. Average annual inflation for January - December 2018 compared to January - December 2017 is 2.8%. The fall in fuel prices continued in December, which led to a fall in transport services by 2.7% compared to November.

Christmas discounts also contributed to lower costs, especially when it comes to clothing and shoes.
