The protests by hauliers against the new European international transport requirements have the support of 64.6 percent of Bulgarians, 7.9 percent say they do not support them, and 27.5 percent have no opinion on the matter. The support is comparatively evenly spread out among all social and demographic groups, as well as among supporters of the leading political parties – GERB and the Bulgarian Socialist Party. The respondents without an opinion are mostly the young, aged 18-29, and people living in villages.
