Spanish Police seizes 1,400 kilograms of cocaine and arrests 10 people, Bulgarian national among detainees

The Spanish Police seized a tugboat transporting 1,400 kilograms of cocaine while sailing in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean some 1,800 kilometers away from the Canary Islands. Seven Turks, one Ukrainian, one Georgian and one Bulgarian national were detained during the operation. According to the Spanish Police the boat was sailing towards a European, most probably a Spanish port, to unload the cocaine which had to be redistributed across Europe later. A Turkish organized crime group is behind the cocaine trafficking.
