Military from 8 countries hold demonstrations within multinational Platinum Lion 2018 exercise

Soldiers from 8 countries – including NATO members Bulgaria, the United States, Albania, Romania, as well as countries part of the Partnership for Peace program - Georgia, Moldova, Serbia and Montenegro, have taken part in demonstrations at the Novo Selo area near Sliven within the framework of the multinational "Platinum Lion 18" military exercise, held from July 30 to August 10.

The military demonstrated joint actions to combat extremists and a paramilitary group that supposedly attacked the local population and coalition forces.

Deputy Chief of Defense Vice Admiral Emil Eftimov said the demonstrations showed high interoperability between partners.
