Bulgartransgaz makes extension of Bulgarian gas pipeline to Turkey operational

Bulgartransgaz state-owned company is officially putting into operation an extension of the transit gas pipeline to Turkey, BGNES news agency reports.

The pipeline is 20 km. long and the investment totals 52 million Leva. The gas pipeline extension will increase the capacity of transited natural gas from 14 billion to 15.7 billion cubic metres a year,and will enable the transportation of gas in the opposite direction – from Turkey to Bulgaria.
