Sofia among cities with fastest-rising housing prices

Bulgaria’s capital Sofia is among the cities with fastest-rising housing prices worldwide, an international report of Knight Frank consulting company reads. Sofia places 18th in the ranking of 150 cities with fastest-rising housing prices. Housing prices in Sofia increased with 11.1%. San Francisco places 19th with 11.2% increase in property prices. Hungary’s capital Budapest places 7th. In one year the real estate prices in Budapest saw 14.4% increase. India’s city of Surat tops the ranking with 22.3% increase in housing prices, followed by Izmir (16.5%) and Hong Kong (15.5%).
