Bulgarian contestants win three titles at Women's European Boxing Championships in Sofia

The Women's European Boxing Championships in Sofia is over. This is the second time the capital of Bulgaria has hosted it since 2016, with 143 competitors from 33 countries taking part.

Bulgaria was represented by 7 contestants who won a total of 6 medals. Stoyka Petrova became champion in the 54 kg. weight category, Stanimira Petrova – in the 57 kg. weight category, and Melis Yonuzova in the 64 kg. weight category. Sevda Asenova won the silver in the 48 kg. weight category. Denitsa Eliseeva (60 kg) and Gabriela Dimitrova (51 kg.) won bronze medals.
