Discover Bulgaria cultural event to be held in the heart of Rome

Discover Bulgaria, which is among the key cultural events during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, will be held near the Colosseum in Rome on May 28. Today, the lights of the Capitol Square will go off at 8.30 pm. A 3D mapping show over the facade of the Rome Municipality building will tell how Bulgarian script contributed to the spread of Christianity among the Eastern Slavs. The professional troupe for Bulgarian folk dances, music and songs Chinary will take the audience on an exciting journey outlining Bulgaria’s contribution to the European cultural identity. The event will be closed by Bulgaria’s Minister of Culture Boil Banov and Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Italy Marin Raykov.
